On Thursday, March 7th, 2019, FlexCare once again donated four specially-designed mobile gaming stations, known as “GO Karts,” to another exceptional children’s hospital on behalf of our healthcare travelers. With a new East Coast office in Charlotte, North Carolina, we continued our commitment to serving our local communities by selecting Levine Children’s Hospital in Charlotte as the recipient of this year’s gift.
The FlexCare spirit of giving kicked into high gear recently after the devastating fire broke out in Paradise, CA, just a short drive from our headquarters here in Northern California. With over 50,000 residents displaced by the fire, we quickly mobilized our staff to assist evacuees onsite through the Salvation Army’s command center, and we donated hundreds of pillows, jackets, and towels, as well as nearly 1,000 winter coats.
ROSEVILLE, CALIF. - SEPTEMBER 26, 2018
FlexCare Medical Staffing, a leader in medical staffing services for healthcare facilities across the nation, has announced the opening of a new office in Charlotte, North Carolina. This is FlexCare’s first regional office outside of California.
FlexCare is honored to have received 40 industry awards since 2011!
The FlexCare Healthcare Heroes Awards recognize and celebrate those healthcare professionals who stand out as exceptional FlexCare travelers. The Greatest Road Warrior is a FlexCare nurse who has successfully completed assignments in and traveled to the most states.
Although we ended up with a tie for FlexCare Road Warrior, both winners, Breanna and Jillian, exemplify the wanderer inherent in every FlexCare nurse.
For more than a decade, FlexCare Medical Staffing has placed thousands of travel nurses at facilities around the country.
The nurse community serves as a daily source of inspiration for us, so when we were considering ways to give back so that we could appropriately honor the hard work and dedication of our nurses, it was clear that it had to be something that would speak to the heart of their passion: to help patients thrive.
FlexCare nurse, Amy P., was assigned a gravely ill patient shortly after starting at a new hospital. According to the hospital, "Amy was simply amazing, positive, and remained cool, calm, and collected. In fact, she modeled the most professional standards of nursing while providing impeccable patient-centered care."
