Giving Season Is Here! Shriners Children’s Is Our 2025 GO Karts Recipient

The season of giving is officially underway! And at FlexCare, that means one of our favorite traditions is back.
Each year, we partner with Gamers Outreach to donate GO Karts to a children’s hospital chosen by the clinicians we serve. GO Karts are mobile video-game kiosks stocked with games for all ages, designed to bring comfort, connection, and a sense of normalcy to kids during long hospital stays. Whether a child is in the hospital for a few days or a few months, GO Karts give them something that every kid deserves: a chance to play, laugh, and feel like themselves.
And this year, our clinicians made a choice that we’re proud to stand behind.
Announcing Our 2025 Recipient: Shriners Children’s Northern California!
We’re thrilled to share that Shriners Children’s in Northern California is FlexCare’s 2025 GO Karts donation recipient.
Shriners was a clear standout for our clinician community because of what they represent: Specialized pediatric care for every child who needs it, including families who are uninsured or facing financial hardship. No child is ever turned away because of cost.
That commitment to care without barriers is what makes Shriners so meaningful. It aligns deeply with the values of our clinicians and with FlexCare’s belief that healthcare should be rooted in humanity.
GO Karts Donation Coming in January
Our official GO Karts delivery to Shriners will take place on January 28, 2026. We can’t wait to bring these kiosks to the hospital and celebrate the moment with their team, families, and kids.
When we deliver, we’ll capture the day and share a recap so our entire community can see the impact they helped create.
Supporting Shriners Through the Holidays: 30,000 Toys for Kids & Teens
While the GO Karts donation happens in January, we’re showing up for Shriners right now through their annual Holiday Toy Drive.
Shriners is aiming to collect 30,000 toys this season for kids and teens spending the holidays in the hospital. FlexCare is proud to be part of helping them reach that goal, and we’d love for you to participate from anywhere!
What to Donate
Great options include new, unwrapped items like:
- Toys, games, crafts, and activity kits
- Comfort items (stuffed animals, blankets, cozy items)
- Teen-friendly gifts (portable games, art supplies, card games, journals)

Why This Tradition Matters
The GO Karts program is special because it’s powered by the voices of the people closest to care. Every year, our clinicians help direct support to a children’s hospital they believe in — and every year, we’re reminded how deeply travel clinicians care about the communities they serve.
This isn’t just a donation. It’s a reflection of what our FlexCare community stands for:
